Huber Advanced Materials offers a range of Martoxid® calcined alumina grades specifically developed for technical ceramics applications. Martoxid® is characterised by high chemical purity, low alkali content (Na₂O < 0.1%), controlled crystal properties, fine particle size distribution, and consistent rheological behavior. These properties make it well-suited for ceramic components where high mechanical strength, hardness, wear resistance, thermal conductivity, and electrical insulation are required. Each Martoxid® grade is tailored to meet the specific demands of distinct application fields, supported by rigorous quality controls and careful manufacturing procedures that ensure low batch-to-batch variability. Huber Advanced Materials produces its full range of Martoxid® specialty oxides to a consistent standard, making it a reliable calcined alumina solution for technical ceramics producers.

Huber Advanced Materials offers the Martoxid® KMS range of ready to press alumina grades, developed specifically for uniaxial and isostatic pressing applications in technical ceramics. Available with Al₂O₃ content ranging from 94% to 99%, Martoxid® KMS grades are suitable for producing engineered ceramics, electronic components, anti-wear parts, and other high-performance applications. The range is manufactured as a spray dried granulate through a carefully controlled process with consistent raw material inputs and detailed quality monitoring, resulting in low batch-to-batch variability and reliable ceramic properties in pressed bodies. A notable characteristic of Martoxid® KMS ready to press alumina is its moderate sintering temperature range, with recommended firing temperatures between 1150°C and 1630°C, offering process flexibility across a variety of ceramic production setups. Huber Advanced Materials supplies these grades to a consistent standard, making Martoxid® KMS a dependable feedstock choice for ceramic manufacturers.
